Where do I get service manuals?
Fixpage reads the manuals you already have: PDFs from the manufacturer, your employer or a parts supplier, and paper manuals you scan with the app. It doesn't supply manuals. A demo manual, Ford's 1919 owner's manual (public domain), is in the library to try things on.
Where do the answers come from?
Only from your manuals. Every answer shows the pages it came from; tap one to open it. If your manuals don't say, Fixpage tells you it's not found in your manuals instead of guessing. Always check the cited page and follow the manufacturer's safety instructions.
What's Private Cloud Compute?
Apple's larger model, for hard questions. It's used only when you choose it in Ask or in Settings, and answers from it are marked. Your question and the passages that answer it go to Apple; photos, jobs and the manual file don't. Apple sets a daily limit; when it's reached, answers come from your iPhone again.
What's free, and what does the unlock add?
Fixpage is free with up to 3 manuals (the demo manual isn't counted), with everything it does on them. A 7-day trial opens everything, from the day you start it. The one-time unlock adds unlimited manuals, searching your past fixes ("last time"), and creating teams. There's no subscription. When a trial ends, nothing is deleted: you keep every manual and job.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, then go to Settings → Fixpage Unlock → Restore Purchases.
Which iPhones does Fixpage run on?
iPhones with iOS 27.1 or later. Answers need Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later) with Apple Intelligence turned on. On iPhone Duo, Fixpage shows the page and the answer side by side when open, and turns into a hands-free step display when partly folded on a bench.
How do iCloud sync and teams work?
Turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings to keep your manuals, devices, jobs and photos on all your devices. To share with colleagues, create a team in Settings, invite people through Apple's sharing sheet, and choose which manuals and devices go in it. A team's contents count against its owner's iCloud storage.
Is Fixpage a medical device?
No. It's a documentation and search tool for technicians who service equipment. It isn't intended for the diagnosis or treatment of patients.
